The Badlanders MCC of North East England are planning a ride in support of the troops to Phoenix House, the Personnel Recovery Assessment Center at the Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire. The ride is part of the club’s ongoing commitment to Help For Heroes, the UK military charity that raises awareness and funds to help wounded active service personnel. Ride registration opens at 8:30am at the Westerhope Small Business Park and the leave time is set for 10am. A £5 donation at the time of registration would be greatly appreciated and goes directly to the cause.
About the Badlanders MCC from their website: ” We are a group of friends based in North East England who met through The Geordie Chapter and are mainly husband and wife, or couples, who ride together almost every weekend. We have ridden together since 2006 and love to ride in Northumberland, Yorkshire, and the Lake District – we do venture further afield now and again!!! Most of us have Harley Davidsons of various shapes and sizes and just getting out and having fun with our best friends is our passion. We socialize together too and do enjoy a good night out! Recently we have been honoured enough to be invited to join the North East Coalition of Motorcycle Clubs and were delighted to accept their invitation.”
