This 10th annual Beach N Biker Fest is a not-to-miss event for literally thousands of bikers from here in the Valley and from all over Texas.
Every year large contingencies of riders come from Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi for the festivities.
The event is headquartered at the South Padre Island Convention Centre. Registration is available online at a discounted rate. Just log on to beachnbikerfest.com and save.
Music this year will be Tejano artists Jay Perez and Elida Reyna on Friday night.
Saturday night features a Van Halen tribute band, Unchained and the Valley’s own Whiskey D. Other great bands include Mars Overdrive, Marshall Law, Spare Parts and Pelican West.
Field events are always a fun way for couples to enjoy competition on their bikes. This year field events have been expanded to include even more exciting games to test the skills of seasoned riders.
The ever popular Bikini Bike Wash will be available so bikers can get their ride washed, waxed and cleaned while they enjoy the wait. Eli Hinojosa, co-coordinator of the event, said “the Magic Valley Riders have gone all out in planning for this 10th annual event.” The Saturday evening bike parade is always a popular spectator event. Troy Allen, co- coordinator for the event said, “Seeing the causeway filled with miles of motorcycles is always a thrilling sight for the thousands of people who come from all over the Valley. It’s an awesome parade of machinery and a real crowd pleaser!”
Bikers can take advantage of two poker runs. One scheduled for Friday and the other scheduled for Saturday. See the website for more details on the poker runs.
The continuous music venues, the trade show vendors, the custom bike show and delicious food served up by the carefully picked food vendors promise to make this 10th Annual Beach N Biker fest one to remember for years to come.
