Brest Bike Festival International
BREST, 24 May – one of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States of the former Russian Federation) biggest biker rallies, kicks off in Brest on 24 May.
The event initiator is the city public organization “Motoclub Gold Wing”. The organizers expect that this year’s event will bring together approximately 5,000 bikers from Belarus, the CIS and Western Europe.
Over the years the local bikers’ meet of about 200 enthusiasts has grown into an international rally. Brest Bike Festival International has been officially included in the calendar of events of the European Federation GoldWing.
Since 2000, BrestBikeFest has grown into a well-known event that hosts riders from Poland, Germany, Spain, Norway, Baltic’s countries, USA, of course from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus attendees each year. The sponsorship of many national, regional and local companies is paramount to fest.
Last year, the bike parade in Brest stretched nearly 10km. The motorcycle crowd featured Germans, Frenchmen, Italians, Dutch, Romanian, Spanish and guests from across the ocean -Americans and Canadians. The main rally site – the recreation camp Orlenok-attracts up to 10,000 visitors who come to see a diversity of bikes, make new acquaintances and simply have fun.
This year’s rally will run for three days. Headlining the grand concert of the 13th rally will be 7B and Dai Dorogu bands. Brest will also witness an unforgettable parade of bikers on 25 May. The event will conclude with fireworks and fire show.
