RIde To Confucious 2013 Tour Through China

About 13 Harley-Davidson motorcycle fans arrived in Tai’an on May 14, one stop in their “ride to Confucius” tour, according to Qilu Evening News. The eldest of the group is almost 75 years old.

The last stop of the motor tour is Jinan, capital of Shandong province. Jeff Ji, chief operating officer of Knighthawk Tours LLC based in the US, said the tour will pass through Tai’an, Qufu, Linyi, Weifang, Rizhao, Weihai and stop in Yantai city. All the cities are key tourism spots in Shandong.

The Harley-Davidson activities organized by Knighthawk started in 2008. This year’s activity is a cooperation with the Shandong Tourism Bureau. Most participants are couples as well as fathers and sons. Three of them have been to Tai’an many times.

The whole tour through china will be broadcast live on the official website.

Wayne Block, president of Knighthawk, said this is his fourth trip to Taishan; he hopes to return again soon.

According to plans, the team will go on to Qufu after a short visit in Taishan.
